Advice and assistance can be offered on a one-off basis or as part of the Annual Advisory Service.

Annual Health and Safety Advisory Service

Employers and the self-employed have legal duties under Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to ensure they have access to competent health and safety advice.

Legal duties are the minimum to which organisations must work. There are others reasons for engaging competent advisors such as:

bulletFinancial: such as to control potential costs that might be incurred following an accident or resulting from ill-health.
bulletCompetency: engaging the services of an advisor who with sufficient qualifications and professional membership (such as that of IOSH), helps ensure that you get the best help available.
bulletEthical and Moral: It is unacceptable to put people at risk from the hazards created by your work activities. The person or organisation creating the risk should be responsible for controlling it.

The Annual Health and Safety Advisory Service offers organisations a qualified and experienced health and safety advisor either to act on their behalf or under their direction for a predetermined number of hours annually.

Please check the Fees section.

The Annual Health and Safety Advisory Service does not include:

bulletAudit - which should be independent
bulletPortable Appliance Testing charged per item tested - Click Here for the current fee structure.
